📜 Our Journey
Our handwriting work began nearly 30 years ago as a set of handcrafted writing strategies taught in small groups across seven learning centres and in schools in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. In 2014, this work was consolidated and launched as Writewiz, a full school handwriting curriculum for Indian schools, with national visibility through a launch graced by Sachin Tendulkar.
Today, we serve over 350,000 students and 35,000 teachers across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh.
🧩 Why We Exist
India’s education system has no formal teacher training in handwriting. Most schools leave it to copywriting, repetition, or textbook publishers. Students develop inconsistent script, poor writing stamina, and struggle during exams.
